Happy anniversary Total Learning Centers! Please join us as we celebrate TLC beginning its 10th year serving our children and community. Founded in 1999 by Drs. Joe and Carol Utay, TLC has lived up to its commitment to prepare students today for success tomorrow through research-based methods ensuring significant gains for each child. Over the years, we have witnessed TLC grow from one center in Wexford to four centers across the Pittsburgh region. Many of us were first drawn to TLC out of frustration and found hope through first learning more about our children through TLC's eye-opening evaluation, and then through seeing and hearing firsthand the progress we had prayed for.

As parents, we all want what's best for our children. Drs. Utay founded Total Learning Centers because they had the knowledge and skills to best help kids by developing the underlying foundations of learning in addition to the "must master" areas of reading, writing, and math. The secret to their success with our children is their highly trained, professional, supportive, encouraging, child-friendly staff. It is their focus on developing our children's underlying skills needed for success that has made the difference. Whatever our children needed to improve was worked on with obvious expertise -- memory, attention, auditory and visual processing, processing speed, language development, a healthier self-concept, or anything else that fostered optimal learning and success in and out of school. We are proud of Drs. utay and the entire TLC staff for what they have accomplished for our children and invite you to celebrate with us all year long.
